Meet Huey. The cutest and most sassy beagle you will ever meet. I enjoy photographing pets! However, believe it or not, I sometimes find it much much more challenging than a crying newborn or a running toddler….
It is almost as if animals have an extra sense that allows them to know exactly what we are thinking, and what we want them to do. Then they do the opposite~
Just some snaps of my sweet son, during his favorite time of the day, BATHTIME!!! He will play forever in the tub, until he is a wrinkled up little prune! I love these sweet, innocent childhood moments.

A few weeks ago we went up to Nashville to visit my sister and her kids, and also so that I could attend the Imaging USA tradeshow. The whole weekend was such a blast!!

I had the excellent privilege of photographing sweet baby “A” and her beautiful big sister last weekend! Isn’t she beautiful? Oh, they were both just an absolute dream! Baby “A” was such a sleepy, perfect baby girl, she did not fuss or cry at all, and we only had to do one feeding break! I went downstairs and played with big sister and just had a fantastic time. And, I must say, that this family had the most beautiful home, and they made me feel at home the minute I walked in. Mrs. S even offered me lunch!! Mom and Dad, enjoy your sneak peek! It was so nice to meet you two, and your beautiful girls. Thank you for the continued opportunity to do what I love.

As I am sure that you may have noticed, I have been taking a little break over the last few weeks. I have some EXCITING things planned for my business in 2010. I am launching a new Boudoir photography venture, looking into a studio space, updating my website, business plan and product offerings!
As I look at all that I have accomplished over this past year, I just cannot help to feel so thankful to have such a wonderful support system. My friends, family, clients, and my mentor have all been an essential part to my growth during 2009. So for that, THANK YOU!

I would also like to make a shout out to an organization that is very special to me, and that I am very, very honored to be a part of, Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. This organization provides volunteer photography to families that have lost an infant. I have had the privilege of working with many of these families this year, and I thank God that I have been given this special talent and am so happy to be able to use it to give back to my community. This is my guy back in July on the pier in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. Oh, how he loves the beach!! (just like his momma!) I just love how this photo shows such a deep, contemplative side of him…. he was very interested in the surfers down below the pier. This photo was taken at sunset, ISO 200 f/2.8, 1/6000 for anyone interested!
