I love getting out and photographing stuff for “me” sometimes, and I really adore photographing flowers, insects and abstract subjects.  I was out scouting for some new locations for portrait sessions around town, and I stumbled across a nest of ladybugs!  They were EVERYWHERE!  This yellow flowering plant was COVERED in probably fifty ladybugs, it was so awesome!  Here is one special “lady” that was especially cooperative for me!

This is from a recent session with the M family and I was going through my images to update my portfolio, and just couldn’t resist posting this one!  She was definitely in her element in this shot, as we were taking a snack break.

A few weeks ago we went up to Nashville to visit my sister and her kids, and also so that I could attend the Imaging USA tradeshow.  The whole weekend was such a blast!!

Here are some pics of our kids playing out in the snow!  Enjoy!

Here is my sweet dude at the North Georgia State Fair a few weekends ago.  He was OBSESSED with riding this one ride (out of the many, many offerings) and so all I have are pictures of him on this one ride!

I just LOVE black eyed susans.  I have a bed of them planted in front of my house, and I love when their green leaves perk up in the spring.  They last all summer long, too!!!  An awesome bed of flowers makes for a happy photographer!

Enjoy!
