What are Mini-Sessions?

A 30 minute session, focused on capturing the images that you desire most. The session will produce 10-15 finished images in an online gallery. I only offer these limited-edition sessions twice a year, and they do fill up FAST! These are the only mini-sessions that will be offered until the Holiday/Christmas season. If you have been wanting to try out a session with me, or get your feet wet with custom photography, but keep putting it off, now is the time to book!!

Details

My spring mini-sessions will be taking place on Sunday May 23 in Smyrna, Georgia.

The cost is $100.00 and will come with 2 5×7 prints and 2 8×10 prints of your choice. (That is $160.00 in prints plus the session, a $210 savings!) You will also save 10% off my normal pricing on any additional prints or collections.

Mini sessions include up to two children (plus parents, if desired). If you have more than two children, I can’t guarantee both individual and group shots due to the time limitations of a mini session, so it would be recommended to book back-to-back appointments for an additional $25.00 charge.

Package/Session fee is due at the time of booking to reserve and secure your session date and time. Sessions that have not been paid within 1 day of booking will open back up to others for booking. A completed policy form (all online) must be returned during this time also.

Online galleries will be posted within 14 days of the sessions and left open for ordering for 5 days. All unordered images will be purged after the closing of the gallery.

If we have to cancel due to weather the rain date will be Sunday, June 6th.

How to book:

Reservations will be taken on a first come, first served basis and will be taken via email only to be certain of the correct order. When sending in your request please note the time that would work best and I will get back to you with any available time slots on your requested day. Time slots will run between 9:30am and 4:30pm, in 30 minute increments.

In anticipation of spring, I am offering a “spring special!”  I will reduce my regular session fee to $50 ($100 savings, people!) for sessions booked by February 15, 2010 and held by March 31, 2010!

brrrrrrr, it is COLD outside!  Especially here in Georgia!l  And it’s hard this time of the year for many families to make all the ends meet. This is the time of the year to dig into our coffers for those less fortunate than ourselves. that’s why i’m joining the growing number of people who are participating in #cans4comments this year.  For every comment you make in ANY blog post (past or present)  from now until January 31, I will donate one canned food item to the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

Week One Results! | YOU be the Photographer Contest | Smyrna, Georgia Child Photography

Ok people, we have a FIERCE competition going on!!  There are still TWO MORE WEEKS to vote, so get your cutie’s picture out there!  Add the link to message boards that you frequent, add it to your facebook status, email it to family/friends, get creative!!

Here are the top five so far!  At the end, I will go through the finalists and remove invalid or duplicate votes, so please be patient!

And remember, ONE vote per person, and a valid vote is considered a comment on the picture, containing the word “vote.”  Comments on the fan wall, or in response to my updates, will not count, sorry.  :(   I have had to remove several, so make sure that you are instructing people on the correct way to vote!

YOU be the photographer contest!!

I am in the mood to spice things up a bit on my blog and facebook fan page, and see some fresh faces and new perspectives!  In order to do this, I am hosting an awesome contest!  Here’s the deal…

1.  Have a little photo session with a child in your life (or you can submit a recent picture, if you prefer!)

2.  Send your ONE favorite picture to me via email, tessa@tessarice.com, I will then post them to a special contest album on my facebook fan page.

3.  Join my facebook fan page, either by the facebook icons above, by searching for “Tessa Rice Photography” on facebook, or by the link found here

4.  Send people (your friends, family, co-workers, etc.) to join my facebook fan page and VOTE for their favorite picture (i.e. YOURS!)  :)

5.  The winner will be announced on October 31st based on the total number of votes for each entered image.  Votes are counted as comments on each individual image/entry.  A person must be a fan of my facebook fan page to vote.  Votes from people that are not fans will not be counted!

RULES!

- Entries must be submitted by FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9th! I will post all entries on Saturday, October 10th, and the voting will begin immediately!!

- ONE entry per person.

- ONLY  separate comments to a picture that state “vote” will be counted as a vote.  Simply clicking “like” by the picture will NOT count as a vote!

- ONE vote per person!

- Voting will continue from October 10 through October 30.  Winner will be announced on October 31, 2009!!!

- Submitted images must be of a child or children under the age of 18.

- For obvious reasons, photos taken by professional photographers will not be accepted.

THE PRIZE!!!

The winner will receive a complimentary lifestyle portrait session with me and a CD with the best shots in full-resolution, with a print release!  That is an $825 value!!!

The session must take place in Metropolitan Atlanta, and be redeemed by February 29, 2010.  A signed model release will also be required prior to the session.

2009 Holiday Mini-Sessions! | Atlanta and Marietta, Georgia family and children's photographer

Well, it is already that time of year again! Time to get ready for HOLIDAY CARDS and presents for the grandparents and family! What better way than to book a mini-session with me! I am offering special pricing for these mini-sessions, because I know that lots of families would like to just get a few images to send out to family on a beautiful, custom created card! These dates book QUICKLY and I am only going to do a total of 10 sessions (5 on each date), so if you are interested, please let me know asap!
