Meet sweet baby A. He was almost a month old on the day of his session, and I have to admit that I was a little bit worried. Typically I like to photograph newborns before their 12th day of life. However, he was an absolutely perfect, sleepy guy!! The session could not have gone smoother. I really enjoyed working with you guys, enjoy your sneak peek! Baby A is just beautiful!

And check out his super cute nursery!!
I just returned from the fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada after attending the WPPI 2010 convention and tradeshow. It was just an awesome experience all the way around. I learned a TON, met tons of new photographer friends, had some laughs, and came home ready to jump start some new ideas and skills for my business. On Monday night I went around with my awesome webguys (such a term of endearment, really….) from Photobiz.com for a mini photoshoot. I had an absolute blast! As many of you know, I was most definitely outside of my comfort zone with this shoot. I use mostly natural light, or controlled and metered studio lighting, for the majority of my sessions. This session was most definitely a challenge for me as far as working with ambient light and off camera flash. But I’m super pleased with the results! It feels awesome to step out of your comfort zone every once in awhile!
Below are some pictures of my Vegas shoot and from my trip in general.
Enjoy!

A Set of Spunky Twin Boys!! | Marietta Child Photographer | Atlanta Child Photographer
January 20, 2010On Saturday I got to run around Historic Downtown Marietta with these two super, super cute guys! These identical twins (H & G) are 6, and as spunky as you can imagine! I had so much fun playing with them! We leaped in front of a cool brick wall (and I somehow managed to avoid traffic and not get hit by a car!), played and threw rocks on the train tracks, and hung out in neat old alleyways. They were awesome!
And did I mention that they are GORGEOUS??!! They have the most crystal clear blue eyes ever! Mom, watch out! These little guys are destined to be popular with the ladies!
Ford family, enjoy your sneak peak!
