This sweet guy was about as brand new as they get, seven days old on the day of our session. And I tell you what, he was super modest because he was NOT having any naked baby shots! But he was super snug and happy in a tight swaddle, so we just adapted to him and wrapped him up! Thanks to the P family for letting me capture these sweet moments for them!

Meet sweet baby A. He was almost a month old on the day of his session, and I have to admit that I was a little bit worried. Typically I like to photograph newborns before their 12th day of life. However, he was an absolutely perfect, sleepy guy!! The session could not have gone smoother. I really enjoyed working with you guys, enjoy your sneak peek! Baby A is just beautiful!

I was pumped when my friend Melissa from high school contacted me about photographing her beautiful family. I was EVEN MORE excited when she responded to me with this email about a possible location:
“R actually suggested our house (well, yard). We live on 4 acres and we have some woods and a big field and our next door neighbors have a
50 acre horse farm with a nice looking fence down one side of our property.
I forget how beautiful it can be sometimes since I see it everyday. Do you think that might work?”
Words just cannot express how excited I was to read this email! Anyone who knows me, and of my photography, is that I LOVE to get off the beaten path and photograph in natural, rustic settings. Especially when it somewhere where the children and my subjects can feel at ease and at “home.”
I think that you will agree that the session was a smash hit.

Spring is Here! | A Sneak Peek | Atlanta Baby Photographer
March 24, 2010I was so excited last week when driving around downtown Kennesaw, Georgia to scout for my session with these two cuties and I found an AWESOME field of purple wildflowers…. It was seriously like something out of a magazine. And what a picture perfect model I had too! ;) She was very into picking the flowers, smelling them, it was a photographer’s dream.
I photographed baby C when she was just a few days old, and she just turned one! Where does the time go? However, she was feeling a little under the weather so I will be doing another session for just her later this week.

Sunset | My Sweet Son | Atlanta Children’s Photographer
March 12, 2010I took my sweet boy out at sunset (my FAVORITE time to photograph…) into an overgrown field by our house. He is my challenging subject, by far. He has so much personality and will not sit still for very long, so I definitely have to take a lifestyle approach with him.

October 14, 2009Meet Baby P. He was just so perfect, a perfectly happy, beautiful baby boy.
Baby P also has some doting, beautiful big sisters. It was so, so cute how proud they were of their little brother, and were ever so helpful with him!!
I especially love capturing little baby feet, ears, lips, etc. It is so special for me to look back on my own child’s newborn pictures and remember how small he once was…
I just thoroughly enjoyed meeting this beautiful family and sweet baby boy! Thank you for allowing me into this special time in your lives!

September 24, 2009I am in the mood to spice things up a bit on my blog and facebook fan page, and see some fresh faces and new perspectives! In order to do this, I am hosting an awesome contest! Here’s the deal…
1. Have a little photo session with a child in your life (or you can submit a recent picture, if you prefer!)
2. Send your ONE favorite picture to me via email, tessa@tessarice.com, I will then post them to a special contest album on my facebook fan page.
3. Join my facebook fan page, either by the facebook icons above, by searching for “Tessa Rice Photography” on facebook, or by the link found here
4. Send people (your friends, family, co-workers, etc.) to join my facebook fan page and VOTE for their favorite picture (i.e. YOURS!) 
5. The winner will be announced on October 31st based on the total number of votes for each entered image. Votes are counted as comments on each individual image/entry. A person must be a fan of my facebook fan page to vote. Votes from people that are not fans will not be counted!
RULES!
- Entries must be submitted by FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9th! I will post all entries on Saturday, October 10th, and the voting will begin immediately!!
- ONE entry per person.
